New Tigerpaw Training Facility Unveiled

Tigerpaw’s new ‘State-of-the-art venue’ expands capacity of live training labs to meet high client demand

 

BELLEVUE, Neb., MAY 22, 2007 — Tigerpaw Software, Inc., a leading provider of customer relationship management (CRM) and professional service automation (PSA) software, opens the doors of its new and larger training facility to students this week, the company announced today.

A pair of two-day classes kicks off a line up of live, hands-on training labs planned throughout the year. Each class is tailored to address a specific area of functionality within Tigerpaw CRM+, the firm’s award-winning business management solution.

Bill Jaquith, Tigerpaw training and education manager, said the new facility – which expands class capacity by 50 percent – gives the more than 12,000 users of Tigerpaw CRM+ “a state-of-the-art venue to receive expert coaching on how to extract the most value out of their software investment.”

“We designed our new training facility to really maximize the user’s learning experience,” he said. “Not only did we want to give more of our clients the opportunity to utilize this service, but we also set out to make the experience as comfortable, enjoyable, and productive as possible. I think this new facility, along with our continued focus on crafting a high-quality curriculum and building a first-rate training team, achieves that.”

The facility is located in a new addition adjacent to the company’s Bellevue, Neb., headquarters.

Tigerpaw had announced plans to expand its training and education division after it posted encouraging results from educational operations throughout 2006 and the first quarter of this year, which the company attributed to high demand among its client base for in-depth educational services. Demand was fueled in part by an 18-percent boost in the company’s client base in 2006, a year in which revenue jumped by 29 percent and new client acquisitions accounted for nearly half of sales.

With so many new clients coming on board, Jaquith said, many are eager to learn the ropes of the application through hands-on lab instruction.

Jaquith said the company will continue to expand its training staff and course offerings, with inventory and accounting courses currently under development and planned to debut later in the year. Those offerings will be added to a curriculum that currently includes sales, marketing, and service management courses.

In addition to the live training labs, Tigerpaw offers instructional videos and webinars, delivered on demand via the Internet.
