Offers Enhancements to Dispatch Board, Change Orders and Conditional Workflows
Tigerpaw Software Inc., announced today the launch of their latest release, Tigerpaw 12R2. The release offers enhancements to functionality including service orders, quotes, workflows and their email editor, and is the first version optimized for use with Tigerpaw’s latest product, Tigerpaw Mobile.

Optimized for Use with Tigerpaw Mobile
Tigerpaw Mobile connects technicians to essential Tigerpaw functions using any device with Internet access, such as smart phones and tablets. Designed to optimize technician time in the field, Tigerpaw Mobile provides streamlined workflows for efficiently creating, viewing and updating the technician’s tasks, service orders, time logs and expenses. (Tigerpaw Mobile is sold separately)
Users can now select from over 1,000 database fields to specify conditions for triggering workflow notifications. For example, users can define different events for customers based on their geographic region, the products they have purchased or both.
New Email Editing Tool
Tigerpaw’s email editor has been updated and enhanced to give clients more options and greater flexibility when creating HTML emails and email templates. Users can now copy and paste directly from an external Word document and Tigerpaw pulls the formatting, images and tables into the email template.
Redesigned Dispatch Board
Tigerpaw’s new dispatch board offers incredible flexibility and a wide range of display options to meet customer’s dispatching needs, such as drag-and-drop task assignments, rep utilization statistics, a list view of unscheduled service orders and email requests, and right-click access to service orders, tasks and rep calendars. The new dispatch board is now floating, so it can be left up on one monitor while customers use Tigerpaw on another.
Real-Time Vendor Price Lookup
Real-time vendor price lookup gives users instant access to current vendor prices and item availability at the warehouse level, so users can enter more accurate costs into bids and identify items that may need to be backordered. Current vendors supported include Tech Data® (US and Canada), D&H Distributing and Ingram Micro®.
Discount Individual Line Items on a Quote
Users can now enter line item discounts on quotes in addition to, or instead of, quote-level discounts. Customers can use new settings to control the items eligible for discount and set system-wide maximum discounts based on security roles.
Generate Change Orders for Service Orders
If users need to modify a service order from a quote, they can now generate a change order quote based on the service order changes. For example, substituting a discounted item or accommodating changes requested by a customer.
